Principal Cathy Mozingo began her accounting career in 1991, and currently serves the clients of Aldridge, Borden & Company through her work in the taxation services group. Areas of Cathy’s focus include income taxation for individuals as well as closely held businesses; fiduciary taxation; estate and gift taxation; and personal financial planning, with an emphasis on high net worth individuals.

A Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist, Cathy is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in Commerce and Business Administration before earning her Master of Tax Accounting degree.

Cathy and husband Flynn live in Montgomery with their three children, Ford, Jack and Cole. A parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, she has served on the board of directors for Catholic Social Services of Montgomery and as its vice president. She has also served on the board of directors of the Montgomery Estate Planning Council, and the professional advisory board of the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Accounting. A Leadership Montgomery Class XIII graduate (and former treasurer), she has been active with the Landmarks Foundation, Holy Cross Episcopal School, and Clefworks. Cathy is also fluent in Spanish.
