We would like to honor and congratulate our very own CFO, Ashley Lough, on her new position as Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board for River Region United Way!
As Chair, Ashley works with the COO/CFO and the selected audit agency to ensure that an independent audit is conducted for River Region United Way (RRUW). In this stewardship role, Ashley and the Audit Committee are responsible for the oversight of the accounting and financial reporting activities, as well as the management of the audit process. Together, they ensure that RRUW uses best practices and operates at the highest level of accountability.
River Region United Way fights for the health, education, financial stability and basic needs of every person in every community. United Way funds programs that address the needs identified through the community needs assessments it conducts every year.
